Custom-Built Autonomous Vehicle for Automatic Charging Research (ASTRI)

We were honoured to be commissioned by the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) to successfully customize and manufacture an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) specifically for their “Robot Automatic Charging Project” research.

The vehicle was designed to provide a precise and reliable scientific research platform:

  • Navigation Core: It utilizes high-precision Laser Radar (LiDAR) for environmental perception and navigation, ensuring accurate positioning and path planning in complex experimental settings.
  • Power and Maneuverability: Equipped with high-performance motors and an Omni-directional Wheel Drive System, it offers excellent flexibility and mobility to facilitate the precise automatic docking required for robot charging.

This project successfully demonstrates our exceptional engineering capability in customized robot vehicle design, high-precision sensor integration, and the manufacturing of automated research equipment.
