Victoria Harbour Scenery Reflection Art Installation
This unique artwork was created by Ms. Claire, the art teacher at Kellett School. She is an experienced senior artist, and many exquisite artworks in the school were personally completed by students under her guidance, showcasing infinite creativity and vitality. Ms. Claire hoped to install an art installation on the school’s staircase platform, which not only adds decorative beauty but also cleverly reflects sunlight, injecting more natural light into the space.
To realize this vision, our team was invited to design and produce 15 reflective mirrors inspired by the silhouettes of Victoria Harbour’s iconic buildings. To maximize the sunlight reflection effect, we conducted precise on-site measurements and calculations, ultimately determining that a mirror tilt angle of 12 degrees would provide the optimal light reflection.
The production process employed advanced laser cutting technology. After precisely shaping the outlines, the mirrors were bent into a U-shaped structure through stamping, followed by welding and meticulous polishing. One major challenge was ensuring the parts did not deform due to high temperatures during welding, which we overcame perfectly with our professional expertise.
Before and After Project Comparison
After installation, the entire platform instantly became more spacious, bright, and majestic. We are extremely honored to collaborate with Ms. Claire in creating this masterpiece that fuses art and engineering!
