Ocean Park Water World Landmark Structure
We are deeply grateful to Hong Kong Ocean Park for their trust in us, entrusting us with the design and production of the landmark sculpture for the entire water park.
Project Content
The design concept of this sculpture draws from a water droplet falling onto the water surface, creating ripples. Our team invested significant time to precisely capture the dynamic moment of the droplet impacting the water, aiming to deliver a visual effect that is both vivid and aesthetically pleasing.
We suggested to Ocean Park that the water droplet section be crafted from polished stainless steel to ensure lasting shine; the water surface section uses marble, created through precise mechanical cutting to showcase natural textures and qualities.
Project Challenge and Innovation Solution
Another challenge of this project was using a single slender support structure to hold up the entire water park logo. Through rigorous calculations by structural engineers, we achieved stable support with the optimal visual effect, balancing beauty and safety.
Upon completion of the project, the water park immediately opened with great fanfare, providing Hong Kong residents with an exciting water park area.
